Site Administration > Log Viewer displays a log of actions carried out and errors encountered by the BusPlanner Web site, based on the log file messages recorded in the web server logging folder.
This log viewer contains all old and new audit logging. The old log records are assigned the "General" category.
•The Category is for the type of log message. The categories include:
oSecurity: Anything related to users logging in or out.
oAccounts: Any changes to any accounts, including in bulk.
oAdmin: Any action performed on admin pages.
oSettings: Any settings that were changed.
oStudent: Anytime student data is viewed.
oPublic: Anything that happens on the public pages.
oGeneral: All other events (including old log records).
•The User column represents the user responsible for the specified action.
•The Path represents the page where the action originated from.
•The "Show Log Viewer log messages" checkbox is unchecked by default (to help declutter the log viewer). When checked, this includes all the log messages that are generated from the action of viewing/searching in the log viewer.
